This Sunday I am so excited to be attending the Dig IN: Taste of Indiana food festival! I will be a social media ambassador posting about the festival on my own accounts, but I also get to takeover the DigIN Instagram story to share the event live!
Indiana chefs, brewers, wine makers and food artisans will showcase a variety of prepared dishes and beverages. There’s going to be more than 40 chefs cooking up impressive dishes, but as of now I’m really looking forward to Chef Braedon Kellner’s Tomato-Watermelon Gazpacho with corn and basil, Chef James Mockerman’s Gourmet Mac and Cheese and Chef BJ Davis’ Coffee Sugar Cream Pie. I can’t wait to listen to the live performances by Indiana-based musicians while meeting the chefs, tasting their food and enjoying the beer, wine and coffee pairings.
I really appreciate the goal of Dig IN’s festival and events. They want to “educate Hoosiers about eating and buying locally sourced food year-round.” Getting up close and personal with the chefs, their food and fresh local ingredients gives you a whole new level of appreciation. I feel honored to be a part of this event and to share it with you all!
If you live in Indiana, you still have time to buy tickets to the festival. If you can’t make it or live elsewhere, be sure to follow me on Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat, plus follow Dig IN’s Instagram to get an experience of the event as if you were there!
Love food. Love self. Love life.
