Fourth of July has to be one of my all time favorite holidays. Sunshine, water, family and food all add up to an annually memorable day. I’ve been back on my Pinterest kick lately with time off from work, so I rounded up some Fourth of July inspiration to share with you. While I don’t like to go overboard with red, white and blue everywhere, I think it is fun to have a few festive dishes to play up the patriotic theme. What are your Fourth of July traditions and staples?
1: Star shaped watermelon 2: Fruit infused water 3: Chocolate covered pretzel rods 4: Chocolate covered strawberries 5: Cheesecake bars 6: Berry and mascarpone crostini 7: Fourth of July popcorn 8: Red, white and blue trifle. All images can be found here.
P.S. Remember last summer when I interned at the Food Network? I wrote three articles for the blog about Fourth of July entertaining! Take a peek: A Laid-Back 4th — Easy Recipes Ready in No Time, Red, White and Blue Savory and Sweet Recipes and 4th of July Recipes for a Crowd.
