Summer is hands down my favorite time of year. Between spending weeks at the lake in Minnesota to almost year-round sunshine in Arizona, I have always loved blue skies, warm weather and the sun. One of my favorite parts of summer every year was making a summer bucket list. My family and cousins would rally around it and join in on crossing off the activities. From simple things like trying a new restaurant to bigger things like getting my boating license, I loved how a bucket list made me feel so accomplished at the end of the summer.
When I first moved to Indianapolis two years ago, all my friends told me how fun this time of year is in the city. Two years later, I can say it’s 100% true! The weather is absolutely gorgeous right now, everything is so green and my mood is so positively influenced by the start of summer. Over the next few months I want to cross off a few things that are Indy specific, but also just general summer fun – regardless of the city.
