Almond Butter and Fig Bruschetta

This delicious bruschetta is a sophisticated version on a classic PB&J, made with chunky almond butter, fig butter and creamy mascarpone cheese. No specific measurements because all you have to do is spread and stack!
  • 1 loaf of French baguette
  • Almond butter, Revival Food Co. recommended
  • Fig butter
  • Mascarpone cheese
  • 2 green apples
  • 1 lemon
  1. Prehead oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Slice baguette into ¼" pieces. Place on a baking sheet and toast for about 5 minutes or until slightly golden brown or crisp.
  3. Spread mascarpone cheese generously on each slice.
  4. Cut apple into thin slices, cutting off the ends to fit width of the slice of bread.
  5. Squeeze a little lemon juice on slices to prevent browning.
  6. Spread almond butter on each apple slice and top with a teaspoon of fig butter.
  7. Place apple slice onto mascarpone toast slice.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
