Gabriela Rodiles writes about simple, healthy recipes and believes people should have fun in the kitchen!
Gabriela has been passionate about cooking and baking since she was five years old. When she was little she would pick ingredients from the pantry to create her own concoctions from and film her own cooking shows. She would set up her family’s video camera on her Dad’s Cuban bongo drums and talk to the camera for hours.
At 14, Gabriela took her hobby of baking to the next level. She started her own cake decorating business called Cake Girl creating custom cakes and cupcakes.
She was an Online Editorial Intern for FoodNetwork.com in the Summer of 2013 in New York City. Gabriela studied broadcast journalism at Arizona State University and was in Barrett, The Honors College. She now works on the social team at Food Network. Gabriela’s favorite meal time of the day is breakfast and her favorite food is peanut butter. She treasures her blue Le Creuset pot and she couldn’t give up cooking without olive oil.
