Thanks to summer and the ultimate inspiration website, Pinterest, I have been in a crafting frenzy lately. I love being resourceful and turning something old into something new! I saw the idea for this cake stand perfume tray on A Beautiful Mess blog. This could be one of the most simple do-it-yourself projects. All you need to do is purchase or dig out one of your old cake stands and dress it up with beautiful perfume bottles.

This cake stand has been used in my family for as long as I can remember. Now that it is being “stored” in my bathroom there is more room for food in the pantry!

I adore the whimsicality of the cake stand. It’s almost as if the perfume bottles were being presented as little desserts! Most certainly a “gourmet” addition to my bathroom. I’d love to see how your cake-stand-turned-perfume-tray looks….Tweet me a picture!
