Sedona Snapshots

This past weekend I cooled off from the Phoenix heat and vacationed in Sedona with my boyfriend Alexander and his family. Northern Arizona is so scenic and tranquil. It was refreshing to be surrounded by the red-rocks and lush greenery. Here are a few snapshots of our fun vacation.

Alexander and I took a walk by this creek. It felt so good to stick my toes in the stream.

We found wild blackberry bushes along the creek! I wish I could’ve picked a bunch to make blackberry pie.

This picture does not even do justice to the views in Sedona. I love the contrast of bright red rocks and various shades of green vegetation.

If you visit Sedona, head about 5 minutes north to Oak Creek and enjoy breakfast or lunch at the Indian Gardens Oak Creek Market. They have gourmet dishes for inexpensive prices, plus a section of local wine, beer and foods. We sat outside and listened to live music for brunch. It was so lovely!

Where have you had a revitalizing summer vacation? I would love to hear your favorite memories and the best places to dine.
